Dolphins

Of all dolphin species you are most likely to encounter the bottlenose and spinner variety in the Red Sea. Spinner dolphins and bottlenose dolphins move in small groups and regularly visit the ‘Dolphin House’ in Marsa Alam.

They are playful and great fun. It’s a joy to watch them from a close distance but don’t touch them! They have a skin that should stay intact to protect them from transmittable diseases.

You can even hear them communicate with themselves under water with high-pitched clicking sounds and whistles.

Dolphins are intelligent but, regardless, they are animals in the wild with an instinct.. They do not appear or disappear on your command. If they entertain you, consider yourself lucky and their best friend!
