Gota Sorghaya at St John’s

Gota Sorghaya means ‘small reef’. It’s located between Habili Sorghaya and Gota Kebir. It’s classified as a steep wall reef. Due to its location, it attracts pelagic traffic from mantas, oceanic sharks, barracuda and tuna. Its western section is carpeted in lush flora. There’s sculptured coral protruding from the impressive reef. Gota Sorghaya also features a delicate collection of soft corals, whip corals, dark tubular corals and gorgonians.
